Objections
to this were submitted via Patterdale Parish Council to the National Park
rights of way officer.
Originally six objectors submitted objections to around seven commonly
used paths.
If sufficient evidence of use of these (and other) routes can be demonstrated
it should be possible to have the paths designated as Public Rights of
Way.
Sadly, this
is the ONLY way that enjoyment of this area
can be GUARANTEED
for people who use the paths now and for future generations.
This is entirely
in the spirit of the wishes of Rowland Lishman who originally donated
the
land to the Trustees of the County Burgh of Tynemouth Y.M.C.A. For the
benefit of all.
Please submit
your objections NOW.
If you have used the paths listed please add your objection
to their closure. If you have used other paths please submit them also.
